  • Original acrylic painting on wood gallery panel

She was never meant to be the quiet one. An observer, Ember stays busy noticing everything: the way the light spills across the ridge, the first frost on the grass, the rustle of something just around the bend.

Ember's the one who sets off first in the morning and lingers longest at the view. She can't help it. There's always something more to see, and she's determined not to miss it. Her sweetness shows in the way she stops to check that the rest of the Herd is following, and then she's off again, eyes bright and stride already lengthening.

Her brother Blaze may have been the spark, but Ember is the glow that keeps everyone moving down the trail. Right now she's caught mid-stride, curious, and a little bit determined. Want to walk with her?

Ember is the newest member of the Wild Beasts Collection, makiing her debut at the October NoBo First Friday, along with a few other members of the Herd. Her striped, ribbon-bright ribbon curls and burning orange backdrop bring warmth and a jolt of joy to any room. She's perfect above a sofa, in an entryway where she can greet guests, or in a dining room that could use a little fire.
